Part 7: Looking Ahead—Launching and Growing Your AI-Built App

TL;DR: Launch when you’ve hit MVP to get user feedback.  Have a roadmap for what’s next.

Tips:

  • Launch your MVP once the main features are working and stable. Iterate on user feedback.
  • Work towards differentiation and scale with future versions.

Identifying MVP (Minimum Viable Product) features is crucial to focus initial development efforts and ensure knowing when the application is ready for launch. For my app, I prioritized essential functionalities like session timers, breathing exercises, and basic customization features.

Looking ahead, I plan to add unique features such as customizable meditation bowl sounds to significantly enhance user experience and app differentiation. If I find there is interest and demand, I will consider including user authentication for online database storage of user settings for scalability and broader accessibility.

In the meantime, I now have a free breathing app that brings me joy.  I hope this blog inspires and empowers you to build your own app.  Happy building!
